A new retrospective of French photographer Bettina Rheim's work captures her focus on the female form and emphasis on sexually charged exhibitionism.

From nudes and black-and-white images of anonymous Parisian prostitutes, to staged and enticing poses of portraits of Madonna, Catherine Deneuve and Milla Jovovich - Rheims provocative signature echoes that of iconic lensman Helmut Newton, whose influence is clearly visible in much of her work.
In addition, her series on view also includes an exploration of how she has witnessed transgender culture and identity evolve.

The complete retrospective is on now and runs until March 27 at Paris's Maison Europ√©enne de la Photographie, featuring 180 images spanning her work from 1979 to the present day.
