FIRST LOOK: Marc by Marc Jacobs Campaign #CastMeMarc

The instagram generation continues to influence fashion and popular culture with the latest campaign from Marc By Marc Jacobs which is entirely inspired by the photo-sharing social media app.
After inviting followers to submit photos of themselves with the #CastMeMarc hashtag, just 9 were selected from over 70,000 entrants to be part of the official campaign, shot by David Sims. Jacobs himself said, "We wanted the ads to shout with youth and energy…to be fresh and reclaim the spirit that the collection had when we first conceived of it - to be another collection, not a second line."

You can see some of the chosen finalists in the images above / below and there will be a series of behind-the-scenes casting videos shown on when the full print campaign launches in August.
