Imagine Jean-Luc Godard's 1960s film 'Breathless' blended with some seriously seductive alt-jazz and R&B, then add Pharrell - and you have ‘Perpetual Nights’, the sassy new track from Mr Happy himself's latest protégé Maxine Ashley.
Directed by Lady Tragik, the accompanying video sees clips of Jean Seberg and Jean-Paul Belmondo from the classic film, projected on to a wall while singer Ashley shimmies along to her tune in various 60s-themed looks.
Look out for Pharrell and his now up-for-auction Westwood hat, just kind of hanging around looking like a dude in a hat, and as with everything he turns his hand to, this song is very very catchy.
Oh, and in other Pharrell-related news, the singer/producer will be 41 in April.... 41!! Why have I been thinking he was like Justin Bieber's age???
