Just in case you aren't familiar with the music sub-genre 'Krautrock', it's an experimental style that blends the elements of progressive rock and psychedelic rhythms - think iconic bands which emerged from Düsseldorf and Berlin in the late 60's and 70's such as Tangerine Dream, Kraftwerk, Faust and Harmonia.
Tapping into the genre are Chilean krautrocker warriors Föllakzoid, who have released the official video for their track "Pulsar", a 12-minute slow-burner directed by guitarist Domingo Garcia-Huidobro.
Shot in grainy B&W, the cinematic-like offering focuses for the most-part on the journey of a horse and its rider - similar to art-house tale "The Turin Horse" - fused with the band's own signature cosmic odyssey-loving vibe. It's one of the most beautiful, spiritual and mesmerising videos I've seen in a long time.
"Pulsar" is taken from Föllakzoid "II" which is available on Sacred Bones Records. Watch the video below.
