Take edgy grunge and add some serious attitude and you have London-based streetwear label, Hardware LDN.

Founded by Jessica Horwell, the experimental and innovative brand was launched in 2012 and is already proving popular among the urbanistas and Brit celeb-swagsters including Rita Ora and Cara Delevingne.
Now the label has launched its latest collection, ‘Trailer Trash’ which fuses Horwell's signature of blending underground culture with street style.

The mix of sportswear-inspired pieces includes bombers, mesh vests, cropped sweatshirts oversized black t-shirts, vests and track pants, across a clash of neon hues and monochrome with a bondage ‘Barbie’ print that runs throughout the collection.
“Growing up I was intrigued and excited by the trash scene and the punks" said Horwell.
"Their clashing colours and their exposed flesh, and I have always loved bondage clothing too, it’s controversial and provocative, which epitomizes the Hardware LDN ethos."

'Bondage Barbie' Print Bomber

Talking about the iconic doll as inspiration, she said, "I made a mini studio with a load of Barbies I found on the street when living in Berlin, and then I bondaged the Barbies with black elastic to make them individual sexy outfits and photographed them in different weird positions! I then used the images to create a selection of twisted, mirrored and brightly coloured prints for the material."

The new collection launches at Topshop's flagship in Oxford Circus on October 13, with two pieces designed exclusively for the retailer, and only available in store. The collection will also be available via Hardware LDN online.
