The Clash to Pop-Up In Soho (kind of)

Without doubt, The Clash were the definitive British punk rockers, who with their fusion of punk, reggae and rockabilly were original rebels with a cause and just as much raw energy as The Sex Pistols, but with a lot more to say.

Now the three remaining members of the band have joined forces for the release of a new box set and album compilation featuring remastered versions of their five studio albums, their first recording session in 1976, live gigs, remixes, alternative versions and b-sides. "The Clash Hit Back" and "The Clash Soundsystem" box set are released on 9 September.

Alongside the release, a Clash pop-up shop is to open in London's Soho for 2 weeks from 7 September, entitled 'Black Market Clash', featuring original lyric sheets, stage costumes and instruments from the band's archive. Fender Guitars will also run mini master classes in the pop-up space for anyone wanting to channel Mick Jones.

For more info on the event head HERE, and now my favourite Clash song / video ever ever EVER, "Rock the Casbah".
