Lady Gaga Is Over (but not really) x Haus of Gaga

When I saw the title 'Lady Gaga Is Over' on the first video promo for her single Applause, I thought 'Hurrah, she's finally going away'.
But no.
The opposite in fact, she's back to prove a point that she's not going anywhere, and when she does go anywhere, she's doing it with the artwork for her upcoming album Artpop painted on her face.

You know I often receive emails from Gaga's fans asking me why I dislike their Mother Monster so much, but that's not strictly true - I have written about her on this site a few times (generally when coaxed by a music PR offering nice gifts), and I have also found myself in a bar at 2am in Belgium slurring the words to Let's Dance at anyone who wanted to dance with me. So that proves I'm no G-hater... and also that I probably shouldn't go to Belgium again.

In her latest stunt-queen Twitter moment, Gaga apparently released Applause a week early due to all the leaked versions appearing online, and if you haven't yet heard it, check it out below, it's just like how Liza Minnelli would sound on speed.

And here is that promo video from Haus of Gaga I mentioned above, which appears to be anti-Gaga while being totally all about Gaga, watch it and you'll see what I mean. The vid begins with a message on screen saying, 'If you don't like pop music, you should turn this off'... I'll let you decide, but it was made in collaboration with the uber-amazing directors and photographers Inez & Vinoodh, so it's worth a look for that reason alone.
