The Mercedes-Benz ART-CAR by Eugène Riconneaus (@riconneaus)

You may recall back in 2011, as the title sponsor of Berlin Fashion Week, Mercedes-Benz collaborated with 4 fashion designers on a series of style-inspired art installations centred around an iconic Mercedes-Benz design.
Working closely with Peter Pilotto, Bernhard Willhelm, Henrik Vibskov and Mikio Sakabe, each of the four style-meets-salon fusions paid homage to Mercedes-Benz designs from the Sixties through to the Nineties.

Now the world-renowned brand has teamed up with French shoe designer Eugène Riconneaus, on a special ART-CAR, which sees the exterior of the Mercedes-Benz CLA transformed into a visual interpretation of the designer's early inspirations, including his childhood heroes and his passion for skateboarding.

The car will be unveiled tonight at the Mercedes-Benz Road Couture party at the brand's official gallery in Paris, where other ART-CARS will also be revealed.
So if you're in the city of love ce soir, head to the gallery at 118 Avenue des Champs Elysées, from 20:30pm.

You can also read my exclusive interview with Eugène in the August issue of Dazed & Confused magazine, out soon.
