Grimes is over it all just in case you didn't already know, as in, she's over the pitfalls of fame, after she shared an open letter on her Tumblr entitled 'I don't want to have to compromise my morals in order to make a living'.
So now the experimental multi-genre singer, producer and director has released a song / never-before-seen video under her own steam, "Venus In Fleurs", which is taken from her first album "Geidi Primes" released in 2010, and the video, directed by Video Marsh, was shot in the Reifel Bird Sanctuary in British Columbia.
As Grimes writes, "This is the only post-genesis official grimes video that I didn't work on myself that will ever be released :). It's a different vibe entirely as you can see. I think it's very very beautiful and haunting and peaceful and scary".
I agree with her - it's a misty and calming visual mix and if you like bird-watching (of the winged and beaked variety), then you'll enjoy this. Watch below.
