Light vs. Dark - BLK OPM (Black Opium) SS13

David Hadida may be more commonly known as the head of Paris-based tradeshow Tranoi, but drawing inspiration from his background as a graphic designer, along with 6 years in London working for
streetwear label Criminal, he has also created the BLK OPM (pronounced Black Opium) line of T-shirts, sweatshirts and vests.

Now in its second season, the BLK OPM Spring / Summer 13 collection features a mix of dark vs. light graphic prints which blend fashion with nature, the human body and iconoclastic references - from lightning bolts, rugged mountain sides and a total eclipse, to lips, numbers (the insomnia series) and evil holy crosses - all produced in innovative cuts with raw finishes.

Hadida has a natural-born talent for making a fashion statement, owing to his parents being Armand and Martine Hadida, the founders of concept store L'Eclaireur in Paris - the first to champion and distribute avant-garde designers in France such as Helmut Lang, John Galliano, Ann Demeulemeester, Dries Van Noten and Maison Martin Margiela.

Check out some of the BLK OPM tees below which are available in L'Eclaireur (Paris), Scosha (NY), H Lorenzo (LA) and via Farfetch.com
You should also check out the brand's Tumblr which is a powerful visual mix exploring their key inspirations and life x death.
