Bo Bruce - Save Me

Bo Bruce (yes, she of The Voice UK auditions in 2012), has released her debut album "Before I Sleep", which is aptly titled because after listening to it over the weekend, it's the kind of music that could send you off into a deep slumber, and I mean that in the nicest possible way.

With production from Snow Patrol's Johnny McDaid and Zero 7's Henry Binns, it's no surprise that there are plenty of breathy, fragile and haunting vocals over rocky stirring emotional ballads with anthem-like choruses and heartbreaking lyrics that serenade you.

Quite a few of the tracks also have that Fleetwood Mac meets Clannad folk-rock style to them, which my Dad (and probably yours) will like.

Basically if you've just broken up with your GF / BF, this album is perfect listen-along-while-you-blub-into-your-tissues material. Check out the official video for "Save Me" below, which is the first release from the LP which is out to download from iTunes today - and if you're wondering which designer created those beautiful bohemian headpieces Bo wears, that would be Culietta.
