The Ultimate Fashion x Art Fix: Primitive London at St Martins Lane

Primitive London, the fashion and art collective, is coming to the Front Room at St Martins Lane this month, bringing its uniquely curated mix of artisanal pieces from emerging artists and designers around the world to one of London's most highly stylised hotels.
The brainchild of Andrew Green and Lui Nemeth which began in 2011, Primitive's focus is on exploring London and Tokyo-based talent, sourcing one-off pieces to sell via its online boutique, and its gallery situated in a railway arch underneath East London's Haggerston station. The collective also presents its eclectic mix of talent via a multiplicity of forms on its website, from text and image through to audio and video.

Following previous pop-up shops and the launch of its very own fashion label In 2012, Primitive's space at St Martins Lane will be split into two sections - one containing exhibitions from a rotating programme of artists such as Maja and Dora, Henry Mackay-Bull and Daniel Swan. The other will showcase designers such as AVA Catherside, Banzai, Cottwieler, Erik Hart, Ambush, Dressedundressed, PRMTV, Cassette Playa, Shuan Samson and Alexandra Groover, Nasir Mazhar, TEN by Nadir Tejani x Primitive London and Martine Rose. There will also be exclusive limited edition items on sale which are only available for purchase in-store.

Check out one of London's coolest collaborations when it opens on 8th of February, running until 21st of March. Front Room will be open from 11.00am - 7.00pm, Monday through Saturday.
