Female Photography In Bloom: Petra Collins

I love stumbling across new female photographers, and although Petra Collins is not so 'new' (she's been making a name for herself on the art and fashion scene since 2011 working with titles like Vogue Italia, Vice, i-D, Complex and Oyster), she's definitely caught my attention with her raw, confident and provocative portraits of female sexuality in bloom.
Petra shoots her subjects using a filter which gives the impression of dreamy, hazy, sun-filled days while fusing in her own interpretations of femininity and youth with a no-holds barred approach (and there's even some fashion in there too).

As the founder and curator of her own online art collective, The Ardorous, she's put together a selection of work showcasing new female artists for us to explore - and I'm also currently addicted to her 'Girls and Guns' tumblr.
Check out some of her work below which makes me long for the days of being young, carefree and up a tree.... K.I.S.S.I.N.G.
