Fashion & Surrealism: Taner Ceylan for Vogue Turkey November

Taner Ceylan is a Turkish hyperrealist painter whose provocative creative vision previously suffered a cultural backlash, predominantly because he was one of the first artists to embrace homoerotic imagery in late 1980s Turkish art. Despite that criticism though, many highly regard his work, which stirs the senses through an emotive and intense realism of various subject matters.
His latest work appears on the cover of Vogue Turkey (November), 'The Art' issue, depicting how Surrealism continues to be one of the topics currently dominating fashion's landscape.
