The Two Kates x Olympic Gold!

Hands up if you thought David Bowie was about to walk out during that 'ooooh ah fashion' segment at last night's Olympics closing ceremony? Yup, you're not the only one!
But instead of Bowie we got Brit supermodels rocking gold gowns/dresses created by some of the UK's biggest designers instead, so we can't really complain.
Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell (both in McQueen by Sarah Burton) led a team of 9 mods down an imaginary FashwanTeamGB catwalk, including Lily Cole (in Erdem), Karen Elson (in Burberry), Lily Donaldson (in Westwood), Georgia May Jagger (in Victoria Beckham), Stella Tennant (in Christopher Kane), male model David Gandy (in Paul Smith) and Jourdan Dunn in a towering Stephen Jones 21-feather headdress. The giant billboards which the mods appeared from behind were shot by SHOWstudio's Nick Knight.

Meanwhile, the ceremony's other 'wow' moment was when Kate Bush's 'Running Up That Hill' (A Deal With God remix) played and we all waited with baited breath for the legendary British singer/songwriter to put in a rare public appearance - but non, she was nowhere to be seen!
Shame, we could've done without Jessie J's repeat appearances (even though she was wearing an appliqué floral Westwood leotard), Tinie Tempah pretending to be a Bee Gee (really?) and Ed Sheeran being...well....ginger and a tad yaaaaawn (anyone else fall asleep every time he sings or is it just me?).

Anyhoo, in homage to Kate (Bush that is, not Mossy), here's the original vid for the song that made us all totes emosh last night...I love this....enjoy!...
