There Is Nothing Like A Dame! (Viv that is)

Dame Viv appears on the cover of Interview magazine's August 2012 issue lensed by Craig McDean, wearing her own designs, naturally.
The designer and "freedom fighter" (she prefers that to the terms "eco-activist or "eco-warrior") is also interviewed by Tim Blanks for the magazine and discusses her fight against climate change, how she felt when posing nude for photographer Juergen Teller in her late 60s, and why her husband (Andreas Kronthaler) has labelled her "the queen of awkwardness".

And talking of Westwood, this is still my favourite SS12 clutch right now!

Handmade in Kenya, the clutch is made from recycled materials and is part of Westwood's Ethical Fashion Africa collection, created by women who live in extreme poverty who want to improve their lives and learn new skills. The collection is produced with the support of the International Trade Centre's Ethical Fashion Program of the United Nations.
