Yayoi Kusama x Louis Vuitton Capsule Collection

Louis Vuitton and Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama are collaborating to launch a capsule collection which features tops, dresses, skirts, accessories and even a raincoat, all decorated in the artists's design signature - polka dots.
Launching on July 10, the collection came about after Marc Jacob's visit to Kusama's Japan-based studio in 2006, and the rest is history...and polka dots.
You may recall that LV have previously collaborated with another Japanese artist - Takashi Murakami - with whom they recreated the famous Vuitton monogram in 33 colours, followed by an iconic LV cherry-print and the self-explanatory "monogramoflage" in 2008.
Kusama was also the subject of a recent retrospective at London's Tate Modern (which was quite possibly the most psychedelic day of my life), sponsored by Louis Vuitton - and if you didn't get to see it, book some flights to the Big Apple now as it will be at the Whitney Museum from July 12 - Sep 30.
