Richard Nicoll x Vogue Italia #FashionOnFilm

British designer Richard Nicoll stars in this short video teaser for his interview with Vogue Italia, which features a sadomasochistic plot that centres around kidnap, sex and fashion, with lots of racy 'up-skirt' underwear shots.
Directed by Justin Anderson, "Get Richard" sees Nicoll bound and gagged and thrown into the back of a car (naturally it's a sleek, sexy black one), while a group of women in mesh masks with mouth holes revealing their red lips drive him from LA into its dusty desert-like outskirts and dump him, or rather...shove him in a hole with only his shoulders and face open to the elements.

The video not only promotes ass-kicking women, but pieces from Nicoll's SS12 collection - basically all of the floaty white dresses and also the metallic heels from the designer's collaboration with Manolo Blahnik.

Nicoll told, “A lot of fashion can be aggressive and protective, like social armour but for me it’s about conveying a sense of honesty of the human condition, it’s important to convey real fragility… My work is about imperfect beauty, something that has that right balance of elegance and provocation.” This aspect of provocation is something that can be seen in this video, as it really does not get more provocative than a little S&M."
