Lenny Kravitz x TOMS

Lenny Kravitz has collaborated with TOMS to design a collection for the brand which is famed for its charitable mission - for every pair of their canvas slip-ons sold, a pair is sent to a child in need.
The rocker-turned-designer has already collaborated with progressively nostalgic US-based wallpaper company Flavor Paper, to launch “Tropicallismo” - a collection of five patterns inspired by 60s Brazil.

And earlier this year, Kravitz designed a series of chairs for Kartell, based on Philippe Starck's iconic "Mademoiselle" armchair - covering the original design with python, leather and fur covering (for that ultimate rocker aesthetic).
He also recently stamped his creative vision across the penthouse and poolside cabanas for Miami's latest must-go hipster hotel, the SLS (which I wrote about HERE).

So this move into footwear design seems a natural progression for Kravitz, whose collection for TOMS reworks their classic design signature, and fuses 70s-inspired woven prints, embroidery and vibrant colours into the mix. One of the styles also features the lyrics from Kravitz's own song "Let Love Rule" splashed across the shoe.
