DAGMAR x Net-A-Porter

One of my favourite shows at Stockholm Fashion Week AW12 was DAGMAR, a collection by the trio of sisters who are quite possibly the Queen's of Scandi-cool, with a signature aesthetic of arty chic across loose silhouettes, architectural tailoring, luxe fabrics, beautiful prints and minimalist cuts.
Their AW12 range is inspired by 'The Swedish Woman', paying homage to fictional character Lisbeth Salander and the early 20th century Swedish colourist Sigrid Hjertén. It's a fusion of 20s and 30s art deco patterns, detailing and colours meets the more grunge-like, urban touches of Salander - taking beautiful vintage Scandi style and reworking it with a vibrant edge and flashes of flesh and devore velvet for a darker twist - celebrating the strength and individuality of the modern woman.
The collection also features my must-have jeans of the year - pink/red stained skinnies with frayed hems, #LOVE!!

You won't have to wait too long to buy the collection as it will be available on Net-A-Porter (UK, Europe & US), from August. CEO of the label, Katarina Roger says, "It’s truly an honor to be represented at Net-a-Porter with their amazing line up of brands. It is a fantastic way to reach out to a broader international market".

In the meantime, shop SS12 HERE.
