Bunny Cap Couture x Bernstock Speirs

East end-born brand Bernstock Speirs, founded by Thelma Speirs and Paul Bernstock in 1982, is still the label favoured by the hip kids of the underground club and music scene - with a collection of men's and women's designs which continue to challenge the traditional concepts of millinery, fusing a sporty and unconventional vibe into its aesthetic.

Perhaps their most notable creation has been the iconic 'Bunny Cap', the result of a collaboration with designer Peter Jensen 18 months ago, which looks like a cross between a joke-shop hat and an Easter bunny costume accessory! The cap instantly became a must-have item, proving that sport x fashion x fun can be mashed up to create a colourful baseball cap with ears and a bow - mixing a traditionally masculine utility item with a quirky and almost feminine edge.

Alongside their recent pop-art inspired bunny-cap installation in the exhibition space at Dover Street Market, the label has now collaborated with - the website which connects consumers to the hottest contemporary designers and brands influencing the future of fashion.

You can now create your very own red, white, blue or black bunny cap (with different coloured bow) and mix it up with stripes, afro or gingham ear patterns - and with 96 combo's to choose from, you should find one to make your own statement with!
