Silly But HEART!

Ciro's Nightclub - Rosemary Clooney, Jose Ferrer, Marlene Dietrich c. 1955 © IMDB

Normally on this blog I like to bring you news about under the radar singers/bands.
For example, Emeli Sandé (now bigger than BIG-and-er); Azealia Banks (she became the soundtrack for #LFW AW12), Marlon Roudette (never mind his step-mum Neneh Cherry, tis all about the Marlon right now), Wye Oak (country music x very distorted, loud and hummable) and Brianna Perry (she's Marilyn.....Monroe).
But today I'm tweaking things slightly, mainly because the song I'm about to share is from 1952 and performed by two showbiz icons (totally above the radar then), and also because they're both dead!
Here is one of the silliest songs I've ever heard which never fails to make me smile, by Rosemary Clooney and Marlene Dietrich, whose name I can never say without adopting a German accent and lowering my voice by about ten octaves.
I give you "Too Old To Cut The Mustard".....and hope you have this song stuck in your head ALL day!
