Dior x Fashion Fatigue


Earlier this year Dior tapped German conceptual artist, installationist and sculptor Anselm Reyle to inject his signature camouflage motif into its seasonal collectible - the pressed powder eyeshadow palette, as well as a range of nail polishes. Now his explosion of colour and texture has been extended across a limited-edition line of accessories for the fashion house, including clutch bags, a re-imagined Lady Dior Cannage bag in metallic leather with ultra-bright top-stitching; wedges; ballet slippers; scarves and jewellery - all in innumerable shades of neon pop-art fluoro green, yellow and pink.

The collection made its debut at the Dior pop-up store as part of Art Basel in Miami this year, and has without doubt brought an edgy pop sensibility to the old-timey glamour of Dior - a crossover of art and fashion which is both urban, modern and energising for an iconic brand.
There is also nothing about this collection that says *blend into your surroundings*, non, c'est tout au sujet de se démarquer de la foule! (trans: it's all about standing out from the crowd!)












The collection is available worldwide in selected Dior stores now, and here are some shots of the window campaign in Avenue Montaigne, Paris....ooh la la!
