Madonna "Girl Gone Wild" x Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott

The second single release from Madge's MDNA album - Girl Gone Wild - features a cover shot by everywhere-right-now photography duo, Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, who are also directing the video for the song. The pair have already collaborated with the singer on numerous occasions, including lensing the cover for "Pop" magazine in 2002; the raunch-fest "Interview" photo shoot (yes, the one with crucifixes and leather); the cover image for Give Me All Your Luvin', and the poster for the upcoming World Tour.

Talking of THAT tour, Madge's p-stylist Arianne Phillips is on costume design duties, telling Refinery29, "Yes, I am going to be doing the costumes for her tour. You know, it’s top secret, but it’s going to be the most incredible tour of all time. You can get a hint of that from the Super Bowl, although it won’t look like that at all. The level of commitment she has with putting on a show is unlike anyone else."

Judging by the Girl Gone Wild cover, it seems the good ole' Blonde Ambition days of JPG's conical bras have been replaced by..... hardly-any-bra-at-all!....WERK IT!
