Lana, Lana Everywhere! (Del Rey That Is)

Nope, there's no getting away from her. Lana Del Rey that is. But I'm not complaining as she's still ruling my speakers right now - I mean, how darn cool is that track "Radio" from her LP? I'll tell you how darn cool, THIS DARN COOL!!! *stretches arms out wide*.

The reigning hipster queen with the hypnotically retro voice has popped up on yet more magazine covers (not content with the March issue of UK Vogue), proving that we're still lovin' her longtime. The first is for The New York Times' T Magazine spring fashion issue, lensed by Terry Richardson (like a moth to a flame, didn't take him long huh), featuring a completely stripped back Lana in Richardson's trademark style, bringing out the natural, raw essence of his subjects.

The other is for one of Lovecat magazine's two covers for its SS12 issue, shot by the woman who knows how to fuse fashion and fetish in a female fantasyland - Ellen Von Unwerth. The cover is in complete contrast to Richardson's au-naturel-del-rey, with Von Unwerth teasing us by provocatively placing a gigantic diamond by Celine in the feline-eyed singer's mouth - and coaxing her to lay on top of more sparkling bling, while purring seductively at the camera. She's a Diamond Geezer Diva.

Not much to say about the clothes she rocks in Von Unwerth's shoot - mainly because I can't see any. But in T Magazine, despite the minimal styling, the singer is clad in pieces by Carven, Emporio Armani Underwear, Opening Ceremony, Christian Dior, Chanel, Diesel and Charlotte Olympia for Peter Som.

Oh, and that highly scrutinised pout that some folk think is just photoshopped-on-airbags....uh uh, it's real. Sort of.
She tells T Magazine writer Jacob Brown, "They’re real lips. In real life my lips don’t look that big. I think because I cartoonised the footage of myself in the video for ‘Video Games’ things look exaggerated.”

Unlike her glittery gold tooth which doesn't look exaggerated at all. No. Not one bit. That cap had me fooled completely (no it didn't).
