Chromatics "Into The Black"

The second track from the Chromatics "Kill for Love" album is a cover of Neil Young's 70s classic "Hey Hey, My My, Into the Black" - a psychedelic makeover which mirrors Young's slow-moving, haunting and melancholic delivery.
The video is directed by Alberto Rossini and features a myriad of split-screen grainy set ups, such as washed out shots of singer Ruth Radelet’s lips, and close-ups of a guitar being gently strummed. This song is best served cool, and preferably with a sloe gin fizz.

"Into The Black" is also the long awaited follow up to 2007′s "Night Drive", which featured a beautiful stripped back cover of Kate Bush's "Running Up That Hill", which just so happens to be one of my all time fav songs.
