Apparently This Is The New Esquire?

Now on issue number 4, Port Magazine is still carving out its niche in the mens magazine market (including its digital equivalent), continuing to prove it's worthy of playing with the big boys after Magculture boldly proclaimed it had "taken over Esquire's mantle". The latest edition includes an interview with Alain de Botton prophesising on porn, and a feature on what it's like to be on set with Michael Fassbender (yes girls, it's perfectly ok to steal your boyfriend's copy and pretend you haven't seen it when he asks).
One thing I would say that's missing from the website though, is more fashion - style trends and grooming anyone? They haven't eclipsed Esquire.co.uk on that score just yet. Although I did enjoy reading The Sunday Times fashion writer Colin McDowell's piece on the Dandy re-issued - 'Is there a place for the modern dandy or will men just end up looking comical? he asks.
Or to put it another way, 'Do us girls want men to go out looking like a ridiculous cross between Oscar Wilde and Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen? Answer: No and never.
