Fragrance On Film: Katerina Jebb for COMME des GARCONS Parfum

Just a little bit weird.....
Directed by British photographer Katerina Jebb, comes this short film/clip to promote COMME des GARCONS new parfum. Trance-dance-like music, odd American narration taken from the "there is no democracy” clip in the 1976 film Network and an orb'ish shape (that'll be the new bottle design) - it's a piece which entices and offers the viewer to explore the idea of consciousness and beauty. Or, end up being completely thrown off by the rave happening inside your head thanks to the music.
As for the smell, think industrial glue and lilac. No really, official description below:

Comme des Garçons are pleased to announce a new perfume, Comme des Garçons. Constructed linearly, the fragrance opens with the man made organic composites of aldehydes and safraleine, opening up with hawthorns and derivations of lilac, before exploding in a riot of flower oxides, then finally succumbing to notes of industrial glue and brown scotch tape with hints of musk and stryax. Purposefully taking a bottle that has been disqualified from existence and purposefully giving it its right to exist”.

The fragrance is released in CDG stores from next month.
