Vogue | Fashion's Night Out is Back For 2011!

For the third year in a row, Fashion's Night Out with Vogue is back in London on September 8th, with the launch party co-hosted by Asprey and Vogue Editor Alexandra Shulman. To celebrate the collaboration, Asprey will also be launching the 'Life Ring', a unisex ring which symbolises love, friendship and life. Aww! The line-up for 2011 includes a host of designers and stars performing and shopping among fashionista's (that's YOU!), with this year's party night being the biggest yet - boasting new events and locations.

So far, this year's FNO includes:

  • Christian Dior turning a trademark black cab into a fashion studio outside their store
  • Rupert Sanderson hosting a roller disco at his shop in Bruton Place
  • Lulu Kennedy and some of the Fashion East alumni hosting a Hawaiian-themed evening - featuring a Mahiki coconut rum shack, Hourglass makeovers and Richard Sloan as DJ on the decks. Designers Jonathan Saunders, Richard Nicoll, Simone Rocha, Michael Van der Ham and Bella Freud will also be at the event to discuss their latest collections - and if you head to the scarf hall, you can even be styled and pout for photographers under a Vogue masthead.
  • Vidal Sassoon will be offering complimentary consultations and fringe trims at its Monmouth Street salon, along with discount vouchers, product giveaways and a prize draw (and don't forget to pick up a glass of Pimms when you arrive!).
  • FNO Covent Garden - includes discounts at Twenty8Twelve on Slingsby Place, Supergra on Neal Street and Tatty Devine on Monmouth Street. Drop into Hoss Intropia on Long Acre for a bespoke 'Hoss' cocktail from 2010's mixologist of the year, live jazz and a free gift with every spend of £200.
  • Stella McCartney has launched a limited-edition gold chain bracelet to celebrate FNO, which will be available from the shop on Bruton Street.
  • John Smedley on Brook Street and AllSaints on Regents Street will be offering in-store discounts and bubbly, and when you need something to soak up the fizz (!), pop into Dune on James Street which will be serving up canapés and a competition to win all the shoes displayed in their window - ZOMG!!
  • Anya Hindmarch
will be offering shoppers the chance to pose with a bag of their choice at the Bond Street pop-up store and win the bag they posed with.
  • Jackie Dixon of SHOWMEYOURWARDROBE.COM will be photographing your preppiest looks at Tommy
    Hilfiger
on Regent Street from 6.30pm, with the best styles
being featured on the Hilfigers at Home set from the recent ad campaign.
  • Mulberry
will be offering shoppers a little manicure at their Bond Street shop, and then head on over to the Brompton Road store, where a fortune teller awaits.....probably to tell you you've already maxed out your credit card! Just as well there's lots of prize draws taking place on the night.
  • Alexander McQueen - I predict this being one of the queue crushes of the night! The fashion house has designed an exclusive
keyring; a signature skull in either gold or silver - available from the Bond Street store.
  • Matthew Williamson
will unveil his new diffusion line
    MW by Matthew Williamson
at his Bruton Street shop - and a limited edition tee will also be available to purchase on the night.

Speaking about FNO 2011, Alexandra Shulman said, "We're delighted to draw people's attention to the fact that fashion and retail are a hugely important and enjoyable part of the country's economy - last year we had 270 stores in central London participating, while shoppers embraced the mood in what felt like one large party. We're looking forward to an even bigger and brighter night later this year".
This years t-shirt to celebrate the event has been designed by Rob Ryan, with Gap providing the garments. Ryan has been involved in previous creative collaborations with Liberty of LondonPaul Smith and Lulu Guinness. The limited edition T-shirt will be on sale while stocks last from September 8 in most of the shops taking part in FNO. The tees are priced at £18 with all proceeds going to Kids Company
