Carine Roitfeld for Barneys AW11 - Ad Campaign Preview

It's a family affair for Carine Roitfeld's AW11 campaign for Barneys, as the Sly and the Family Stone song goes (which incidentally, I used to sing and dance to in front of my family, wearing everything from my dress-up box, when I was 7-years-old. According to my Mother anyhow. Yes, I was a pretty cool kid).
That aside, the campaign, which features Roitfeld herself, also includes daughter Julia Restoin Roitfeld, son Vladimir Restoin Roitfeld and other names from the fashion glitterati such as stylist Marie-Amelié Sauvé, jewellery designer Victoire de Castellane and models Naomi Campbell and Natasha Poly
Shot by Mario Sorrenti, it's mainly a feast of fash-pack-black outfits by Azzedine Alaïa, Proenza Schouler, Givenchy, Balenciaga, Fendi and Rick Owens (who btw, designed the jacket I'm wearing in my Twitter avatar picture, for those of you who have asked me!).
Barneys creative director Dennis Freedman told WWD, “Our goal with the campaign was to create a personal experience with someone who has extraordinary style like Carine.”
I like the first shot of Carine and son Vladimir (below), aww, Mummy's boy.
