Fashion On Film: God Save My Shoes

If like me, you think the recipe for a good life should have MORE SHOES!! then you'll be interested to know that a new fashion documentary God Save My Shoes, is set to be released, focusing on the relationship (and weakness) between women and their heels. HA! Take that men, sex, chocolate etc etc...

Featuring fashion's elite force, Anna WintourKarl Lagerfeld and Tom Ford, commenting on how heels maketh the woman, the documentary - directed by Julie Benasra - also includes interviews with iconic designers such as Christian LouboutinManolo BlahnikPierre Hardy and Bruno Frisoni. The film also follows some serious sleb shoe-hoarders and atelier clients discussing how much they adore what they slip on their feet, including Burlesque star and Jean-Paul Gaultier model Dita Von Teese, singer Kelly Rowland, and BEP front lady Fergie, who said: “A shoe tells who you are.” Quite. And I guess a shoe cupboard that doesn't close properly also tells you who you are. An addict.

The documentary  is set to premiere during Paris Fashion Week and for more information, keep updated by going to the official site www.godsavemyshoes.com and the official Facebook page.
And now ladies, put your feet up (ooof, feels good to kick off those heels eh!) and watch the film's trailer below...
